How your data is handled
Short and plain. If anything here is unclear, write to contact@globalhrworld.com.
What this is for
Leading Everest is for learning and development only. Nothing in it is meant for appraisal, selection or any other decision about a person. The debrief is a mirror for a team. It is not a test, and it should never be used as one.
What we store
- The name or nickname you type. You do not have to use your real name.
- The role you take, the choices you make, the cards you share and the messages you type in the game.
- Your answers to the four closing statements and the commitment you write, if you choose to give them.
- If you ask for a facilitated session: your name, work email, company and message.
- If you ask for a quote: your name, email address, organization and billing address. We email the quote to you and keep a copy.
What we do not do
- Players need no account, no password and no email address. They join with the team link and a nickname.
- The person who opens a team room or a facilitator session signs in to Global HR World. That site tells the game only the member number and the display name. The game never sees the password or the email address.
- No advertising, no tracking across sites, and no analytics service.
- No part of the game is sent to another company. No artificial intelligence service reads what you type.
- Your voice call is yours. The game cannot hear it.
Who can see what
- Your team sees the cards you share, your messages and your moves. Your private cards stay private until you share them.
- A facilitator sees where each team is and how it scored. A facilitator never sees private cards.
- The facilitator chooses how the debrief names people: by name, by role only, or not at all. Your own answers to the closing statements are only ever shown as a team average.
- Once a climb has started, nobody can watch it without giving a name that the team can see.
- A few people at Learning Everest can reach the database to keep the service running.
How long we keep it
- Every climb is deleted automatically 30 days after it was opened.
- The host of a room, or the facilitator of a session, can delete it at once with the button at the end of the debrief.
- Safety copies of the database are kept for 14 days and then deleted.
Where it is kept
On a server in the United States, rented from Hostinger and run by Learning Everest Private Limited, India. In your browser we keep one small key so that you return to your own seat. It is not a tracking cookie.
Your choices
- Use a nickname.
- Watch as an observer if you would rather not play.
- Skip the closing statements and the commitment.
- Ask the host to delete the climb, or write to contact@globalhrworld.com and we will delete it for you.
If we change how data is handled, this page will say so first.
