Leading Everest

Run Leading Everest with your teams

One screen for the facilitator. One link for each team.

Open a session, send each team its link, and watch every climb from your own screen. You see where each team is and how it scores. You never see private cards.

  • 1 to 10teams in one session
  • 1 to 6people in a team, 3 or more is best
  • 2 hourswith the briefing and the debrief

Open a session

One code opens one session, with up to the number of teams you bought. Opening the session uses the whole code, so set the number of teams you paid for. The full game is paid, per team. You get an access code right after you buy. See pricing and buy.

Leave a box empty to keep the number. A name can be a department, a city or a name the team picks, for example Finance, Pune or Blue Ridge.

New to this? Read the facilitator guide and send your group the two-minute tech check before the day.

01

What you control

See every team

Who has joined, the day they are on, where they are, summits, rescues, cards shared, and who is ready.

Pause all teams

Every clock stops. Use it to speak to the room or to let a slower team catch up.

Two more minutes

When a real discussion is under way and the timer would cut it off.

A message to every team

It appears on all screens, for example "10 minutes to the end".

Seats and dropouts

Hand the seat of someone who left to the computer. A latecomer takes a computer seat.

The group table

After the climb, every team side by side, and each team's own debrief one click away.

How a session runs

  1. 1Open the session

Give it a name, choose the number of teams and the settings. Every team gets the same mountain, so results can be compared.

  2. 2Share the links

Your screen shows one link per team. Send each team its link, or read the code aloud in the room.

  3. 3Brief, then watch

Read the briefing from the facilitator guide. While they climb, watch who shares, who asks and who has not spoken.

  4. 4Run the debrief

Open each team's debrief and the group table, and lead the conversation. That is where the learning happens.

Good to know

  • A session code is not a room code. The session code opens your facilitator screen. Each team has its own room code and link, shown on that screen.
  • More than one session. Open as many as you need: each has its own code, screen and team rooms. The ones you opened on this browser are listed under the form.
  • Keep your facilitator link. Your browser remembers it. Open the same link on another device if you need to, with the key it shows you.
  • Who is named. Choose "roles only" unless the team has agreed to names. Your own answers are never shown to anyone but you.
  • Want us to run it? Book a facilitated session and a Learning Everest facilitator does the briefing, the climb and the debrief.
